Since 1995, I have worked in a variety of fields including local news, reality TV production, Web production, public relations, copywriting and local politics.  In each of these industries, I have combined my love for storytelling with my passion and talent for writing.

I’ve written news copy about corrupt politicians, natural disasters, groundbreaking legal cases, the latest technological inventions, international conflicts, election results, real estate trends and the sex lives of A-list actors.  I’ve directed shoots and written scripts for shows about interior design, landscaping, tornadoes, treasure hunting, dangerous criminals and twins who marry twins.  I’ve created press releases touting the wonders of online postage technology, wireless applications, environmental activists, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, luxury hotels and the coolest neighborhoods in America.

Throughout my career, I’ve met and interviewed a variety of well-known personalities including former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore, former Governor of New Jersey Christine Todd Whitman, film director John Waters, author Armistead Maupin, actress Alicia Silverstone, comedienne Margaret Cho and the band Chumbawumba.

I’ve driven through hail storms and funnel clouds in Oklahoma, descended 200 feet underground to a gem mine in San Diego, dodged lightning while canoeing down a river in Florida, unearthed dinosaur bones in Wyoming, scaled a 14,000 foot peak in Colorado, dug up an outhouse in Northern California and toured a cellblock at the Indiana State Penitentiary—all for the purpose of telling a story.
